Systemic Design is a holistic approach that is increasingly recognised in addressing complex societal challenges. This study aims to contribute to the sustainable development processes of local producers in Hatay -a province most severely affected by the earthquakes of magnitude 7.7 and 7.6 that occurred in Türkiye on February 6, 2023- through the application of the Systemic Design approach. Additionally, the applicability and impact of this approach in a post-disaster context were examined using the Delphi method, a qualitative impact assessment technique commonly used in the social sciences. The earthquakes not only caused physical destruction but also deeply disrupted social, economic, and cultural systems. In regions characterised by production-based local economies, the need for multi-dimensional and system-oriented interventions has become more apparent. In this context, the study encompasses a process conducted within the framework of Systemic Design in Hatay, as well as the evaluation methods applied to assess its effectiveness. The research process was managed through stages structured by the Systemic Design Toolkit developed by Jones and Van Ael (2022), along with methods selected for each stage. Data obtained through current state analyses, field observations, and stakeholder interviews were systematically analysed; strategic recommendations were developed to support the economic and social recovery of local producers. To evaluate the potential of these recommendations and the impact of the Systemic Design approach in a post-disaster context, the Delphi method was employed as a social impact measurement tool, and feedback was collected from relevant experts. The outcomes of the feedback process, carried out with the participation of experts from various disciplines, reveal the potential of Systemic Design to develop long-term, holistic, and participatory solutions in post-disaster contexts. This study presents the stages of the process, the methods used, the impact evaluation, and the expert feedback in detail.
