Lesley-Ann Noel, RSD14 Dean’s Chair
Lesley-Ann Noel exemplifies Arcs of Impact—Relationality in Complexity. Inspired by the university’s mandate to decolonise curriculum and embrace Indigenous learning outcomes, Noel embraces a pluriversal leadership style grounded in equitable power redistribution. She emphasises “humanising the data” and develops tools such as the Designer’s Critical Alphabet and the Positionality Wheel to build equity into methodology.
Peter Jones, RSD14 Co-Chair
As a founding member of the Systemic Design Association and three-time RSD Chair, Peter Jones has situated RSD14 within the theme of relationality, emphasizing how systemic design—rooted in research—flourishes through the connections between individuals and communities. Peter exemplifies leadership in collaborative projects and knowledge-sharing, contributing to countless arcs of impact that resonate across disciplines and foster innovative, relational change.
Greg Van Alstyne, RSD14 Co-Chair
