RSD13-RSDX was an online community-led program that seamlessly integrated practice and scholarship. The 77 presenters came together as co-creators in this extraordinary systemic design initiative, embodying a design ethos that resonates with the challenges of our time. Their generosity of spirit enabled an inspiring series of online sessions in a pay-what-you-can model that crossed many time zones, disciplines, and fields.
The online sessions of RSD13 were envisioned as tributaries—rivers of knowledge flowing from the streams of RSDX and RSD13-ONLINE, converging into the main event, RSD13-OSLO, and flowing outwards into the year to come. This convergence enhances the flow and depth of discourse, mirroring the diverse landscapes we navigate together. Influenced by gradients, shapes, and textures, RSDX participants and organizers are encouraged to transport knowledge, nourish their designerly ecosystems, and provide space for ideas to breathe and flourish.
