RSD9 Week was hosted by the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, India. It was held October 9-17, 2020, representing a full week of online paper presentations, workshops, complex visualizations (Gigamaps), panels and conversations.
RSD7 Chair. Silvia Barbero: This symposium has seen the official establishment of the Systemic Design Association, with a public announcement during the first day.
RSD6 Co-Chairs. Peter Jones & Birger Sevaldson: The sixth RSD symposium was held at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO).
RSD5 Chair. Peter Jones: Proceedings are the result of the dialogue and discursive process within the community of practice, and while it follows peer review within an extended reviewer panel, it differs from the traditional scientific publication process.
The RSD4 Symposium was held September 1-3, 2015, Banff, British Columbia, Canada.
RSD3 Chair, Birger Sevaldson: The emerging renaissance of systems thinking in design responds to the increasing complexity in all challenges faced by designers, strategists, and transdisciplinary innovators.
RSD2 was hosted by AHO in Oslo, Norway from 9-11 October 2013, with over 120 participants in the emerging renaissance of systems thinking in design.
RSD1 featured keynotes by Harold Nelson and Peter Jones and 12 plenary presentations.
