Birger Sevaldson, Benedicte Wildhagen, Jonathan Romm, and Andreas Wettre
Four central individuals from the systems oriented design (SOD) environment at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and Design and Architecture Norway (DOGA) will share the past of SOD, how it made its way into the design world of Norway, its current position in the pluralistic ecosystem of systemic design and how it might develop in the future.
Birger Sevaldson is the former professor of SOD at AHO, the founder of the RSD symposia and co-founder of the Systemic Design Association.
Benedicte Wildhagen is the Chief Adviser of Public Systems and Service Innovation at DOGA, the Norwegian Design Council. She has a background as a graphic designer and is a former board member of the SDA.
Jonathan Romm is the new professor of SOD at AHO, with a long record of participating and introducing SOD to HALOGEN, standing with one foot in academia and the other in practice.
Andreas Wettre is the central lead of the new executive masters in SOD at AHO and central in the education of SOD. He has years of experience in leadership consultancy and systemic management theory. He is forming a bridge between the old and the new.
This keynote is a conversation between the four of them, with input from the audience.
