Vandana Shiva opened RSD9 with “Systems design for the well-being of the Earth” followed by Giulio Quaggiotto on Wednesday with “No Silver Bullets. How UNDP learned to embrace system thinking”. Thought-provoking plenary sessions were held on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. The symposium closed with a keynote by Harold Nelson’s “Regaining a New Sense of Well-being by Design” and a special presentation by the Systemic Design Association, including the announcement for RSD10.
