– Miltary forces can in a theoretical re-write be considered parctice based agents doing systemic changes. Therefore some of the practices originating from military thinking and praxeology can be useful when discussing other fields and interventons in larger complex systems. Within military planning, what is labeled operational art is an intrinsic part. Central concepts within operational art is Friction, Synchronisation and Culmination.
In this presentation I would like to explore how or if these concepts can be used to further develop other theoretical fields, specifically Systems Oriented Design, as an alternative or support to how interventions in larger complex system can be carried out.
